What you think makes someone beautiful
I am sucker for a great smile. My smile is my most favorite thing about me, so that is always the first thing I notice about a person. From there, it all depends on the person and how they highlight their features. A slight difference from the majority always helps in my book, too. (I love freckles!) There isn’t one particular skin tone, eye color, or height that makes someone beautiful to me. I find quite a variety of people stunning beautiful. Outside of a great smile, I have to also admit that there is a certain “glow” a person gives off that makes them so appealing. For example, Yaya DaCosta has the smile and the “glow” I am talking about. Her slight difference from the majority when she came out was her big, natural hair.
Moving away from the physical, the way a person carries his/her self means a lot in my book. Confidence is key, but a haughty personality can take away from someone’s beauty. I love someone that does not allow their appeal to consume their lives: being beautiful comes natural. I love when someone I find beautiful seems not to know it or believe people when others acknowledge it. I try not to fall for society’s standards of beauty, and it is usually very easy when you start to look past what’s on the outside.
